Palin Calls Trump To Cancel Meals On Wheels Federal Grant “For Accepting Donation From American Traitor Kaepernick”

Sarah Palin complained about Colin Kaepernick’s latest “political stunt” – and got absolutely roasted on social media. The failed vice presidential candidate and former half-term governor of Alaska posted a link early Wednesday to her own website, which published an article on Kaepernick written by Mary Kate Knorr. The free-agent quarterback donated $50,000 to Meals on Wheels, which could lose its federal grant – which makes up more than 35 percent of the program’s funding – under the budget proposed by President Donald Trump. Kaepernick angered conservatives last year by kneeling during the national anthem to protest police violence against black Americans, and Trump has claimed credits for the player remaining unsigned after opting out of his contract with the San Francisco 49ers.

Commenting on the roast she suffered throughout social media platforms, Palin told Internet portal KnowMyRepublican.com that she is “having a really hard time” getting to grips with how delusional the American people have become. “I mean, at first, I was like, ‘wow, where’s all this coming from?’” she revealed. “It’s not like I was trying to score political points by bashing anyone, I mean, God knows I don’t need to do that sort of thing since I’m still doing okay as far as my popularity is concerned. But, on the other hand, here I was, thinking I’d get a lot of people on my side in exposing the traitor Kaepernick trying to buy people into liking him, and all of a sudden, I got misunderstood. Come to think of it, I seem to be getting a lot of that lately.”

The former half-term governor of Alaska continued, “There’s no need to get into how I feel about Kaepernick and all that, that’s a closed book I think. However, the thing about people like that is, they’re not likely to change if we keep turning a blind eye to what they do and how they behave. Just because it’s been almost a year since he publically betrayed the country that made him a star and gave him everything does not mean that people have moved on and that all is forgiven. We still remember you, Colin, and it’ll take a lot more than time to make us forget the humiliation you brought upon yourself and millions of other Americans. And no matter how many billions you donate, there’s nothing that can set right the consequences of your betrayal.”

“That is exactly why I believe Meals on Wheels needs to be stripped of its federal grant; it is up to us to keep reminding traitors that their deeds won’t be forgotten. We need to make an example out of them – President Donald Trump needs to make an example out of them. I hereby call upon President Trump to sign another executive order A.S.A.P. and cancel the said federal grant as a means of punishing Meals on Wheels for accepting a donation from a traitor to this great country. Let Meals on Wheels serve as an example to everybody else as to what happens when you decide to support enemies of the state, even if it involves you merely accepting something you’re badly in need of. Let me put it this way: if I had AIDS and Kaepernick was the only person on the planet with the cure, I’d rather die a painful death than accept anything from the likes of him,” Palin concluded.
